Best Marriage Proposals: It was 11pm and we were driving back home after having a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant. The dinner was lovely because the food and wine were excellent but also because (or mainly because) we enjoyed each other’s company so much. We were on a dark, narrow road when Marty said he had heard some strange sound from the front of the car and said we should pull to the side and look. We stopped and opened the front of the car. He was supposedly looking around with a flashlight when he asked me if I could open the trunk to get some tool he needed from there. When I opened the back I found it was full of large roses made of fabric (they were gorgeous), many natural soaps and a large box in the center. Not exactly the kind of thing you would expect to find in the back of the car. I opened the box to find my engagement ring. it was a lovely surprise and my answer of course was YES.
